Turning the Page: A Commitment to Self-Love"

Today is the first day of the year, and my heart is filled with noise: a mix of gratitude, love, hope, and the desire to filter out everything that no longer makes sense in my life. There is no way to start a new story without addressing the edges that need transformation. This is my commitment to cutting away what no longer serves and bringing health to my soul.
However, letting go of these flaws is challenging because memories, emotions, and the kindness within me always pull me back to them. Even so, I must surround myself with love — especially love from within. Self-love will be the filter that separates true love from false appearances. My daily connection with God will bring discernment to my spirit's needs.
Letting go of what no longer makes sense is not about disrespecting others but about being gentle with yourself. It is an act of healing. It’s offering a smile without engaging in circles that disrespect your boundaries. Being kind does not mean tolerating a lack of respect.
Want to start the year off right? Love yourself, respect yourself, set boundaries, and be gentle. This way, even internally, change will be intentional and not passive. Take control of your story and allow yourself to turn the page.
